AV Service Business Development Manager/REMOTE
<p>This is a remote position.</p> <b>AV SERVICE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER<br>Location: Remote</b><br><b>Compensation: $125,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission<br></b><br> About the Opportunity<br> Are you a<i> proven AV sales hunter with a passion for building new client relationships and generating recurring service revenue?</i><br> <br> We are seeking a high-energy <b>AV Service Business Development Manager</b> to drive growth within a rapidly expanding AV services and managed services organization. This role focuses on acquiring new service contracts, expanding market presence, and developing long-term relationships with enterprise, corporate, education, entertainment clients and technology clients.<br>This is an <i><b>outstanding opportunity</b></i> for a motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, developing new business, and closing service agreements.<br> <br> <b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br> <ul> <li>Business Development Sales<br></li> <li>Identify, prospect, and secure new AV service contracts, including maintenance agreements, managed services, help desk support, system monitoring, and event support, and lifecycle management programs.<br></li> <li>Execute high-volume outbound business development activities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and industry events.<br></li> <li>Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.<br></li> <li>Drive new revenue growth through consultative selling and relationship development.<br></li> <li>Meet and exceed sales goals, revenue objectives, and key performance metrics.<br></li> </ul> <b>Client Relationship Management:</b><br> <ul> <li>Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, AV Managers, Facilities Directors, and other key decision-makers.<br></li> <li>Understand client business objectives and recommend service solutions that improve system performance, reliability, and user experience.<br></li> <li>Present service offerings, proposals, and value-driven business cases.<br></li> <li>Negotiate and close service agreements while maintaining long-term client relationships.<br></li> </ul> <br> <b>Industry Engagement:</b><br> <ul> <li>Represent the company at AV industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and professional associations.<br></li> <li>Stay current on AV technology trends, market developments, and competitive offerings.<br></li> <li>Identify new market opportunities and emerging service needs.<br></li> </ul> <b>Collaboration Reporting:</b><br> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, pipeline activity, and sales reporting.<br></li> <li>Collaborate closely with sales, service, operations, engineering, and marketing teams.<br></li> <li>Participate in strategic planning and market development initiatives.<br></li> </ul> <b>Qualifications Required:</b><br> <ul> <li>5+ years of successful B2B sales experience within the AV / ProAV industry.<br></li> <li>Proven track record developing new business and securing service, maintenance, support, or managed services contracts.<br></li> <li>Strong understanding of AV technologies and solutions.<br></li> <li>Experience selling into enterprise, corporate, education, transportation,healthcare, hospitality, or public sector environments.<br></li> <li>Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.<br></li> <li>Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.<br></li> </ul> <br> <b>Preferred:</b><br> <ul> <li>CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification.<br></li> <li>Experience working for an AV integrator, manufacturer, managed services provider, or technology services organization.<br></li> <li>Familiarity with QSC, Extron, Shure, Biamp, Pixera, ISSAC, and DV-LED technologies.<br></li> <li> Experience supporting transportation, airport, or other mission-critical environments.<br></li> </ul> <br> <b>Compensation and Benefits:</b><br> <ul> <li>$125,000 Base Salary<br></li> <li>Aggressive Uncapped Commission Plan<br></li> <li>Medical Insurance<br></li> <li>Dental Insurance<br></li> <li>Vision Insurance<br></li> <li>Life Insurance<br></li> <li>401(k)<br></li> <li>Wellness Programs<br></li> <li>Paid Holidays<br></li> <li>Three weeks of paid time off<br></li> <li>Paid Parental Leave<br></li> <li>Career Growth Opportunities<br></li> <li>Collaborative Team Environment<br></li> </ul> If you have a proven history of building relationships, generating new business, and closing AV service opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.<br> <b>Work Location: Remote</b><br> <br> <br>
