We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customs Broker / Freight Forwarding Specialist to join a dynamic logistics team in Milwaukee, WI. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and freight coordination.

? Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process import/export documentation in compliance with U.S. Customs and international regulations
  • Coordinate international shipments via air, ocean, and ground freight
  • Communicate with customs officials, carriers, and clients to ensure timely clearance and delivery
  • Classify goods according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
  • Track and trace shipments, resolve delays, and proactively communicate updates to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, duties, and compliance documentation
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
? Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage or freight forwarding
  • Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and international trade compliance
  • Familiarity with freight management systems and documentation platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Licensed Customs Broker (preferred but not required)
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 annually (based on experience)

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
