For more information, visit <a href="http://www.ovationhc.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">www.ovationhc.com</a>. </div><div> </div><div><h2>General Summary:</h2>The Director, RCM Vendor Strategy and Performance, is a leadership role responsible for defining and executing the strategy for outsourced revenue cycle management (RCM) operations. This leader oversees vendor partnerships, drives performance accountability, and ensures that offshore and third-party vendors deliver measurable financial, operational, and compliant outcomes.This role partners closely with HB/PB Revenue Cycle, Finance, Coding, Patient Access, and IT to optimize vendor-supported functions, improve cash flow, reduce denials, and enhance overall revenue integrity.<h2>Duties and Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Oversee new project implementation for global team members within Ovation RCM operational teams including RCM functions such as Coding, Charge Capture and Charge Entry, Credentialing, Payment Posting, AR Follow-Up and Collections, Denials Management and Appeals, and Cash Posting</li><li>Provide ongoing management support for 150+ global team members across multiple operational teams</li><li>Develop and execute a comprehensive vendor strategy aligned with organizational revenue cycle goals</li><li>Identify opportunities for process standardization and optimization</li><li>Drive accountability and remediation for underperformance</li><li>Monitor financial performance, including quality assurance and effectiveness measures, productivity, throughput, and cost efficiency</li><li>Analyze and report on project health, key deliverables, and potential risks with the global team.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement</li><li>Proactively engage key Revenue Cycle stakeholders to communicate project status, address roadblocks, and collaboratively seek corrective action when necessary to ensure teams consistently meet established production and quality standards</li><li>Manage relationships with several vendors, including contract management, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and facilitating renewals or amendments as needed</li><li>Oversee invoice verification and timely payment for multiple vendor partners</li><li>Assist in strategically managing position control and capacity planning to align with annual initiative goals and ensure appropriate workforce allocation across Ovation RCM operational teams</li><li>Proactively work with operations team to further expand offshoring activity in key areas</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<ul><li>Proven project management and experience managing and/or collaborating in multi-functional teams</li><li>Strong knowledge of RCM KPIs, workflows, and financial drivers</li><li>Strong leadership skills with confident verbal and written communication</li><li>Expertise in data analytics, reporting, and performance optimization</li><li>Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, payer guidelines)</li><li>Strategic thinking with ability to execute operationally</li><li>Experience with either managing or working directly with offshore partners</li><li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Effective organizational skills to successfully manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously</li></ul>Work Experience, Education, and Certifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Finance, or related field required</li><li>Master’s degree (MBA, MHA) preferred</li><li>5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management</li><li>Deep expertise in hospital revenue cycle functions (front-end, mid-cycle, back-end)</li></ul>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: <ul><li>Reliable high-speed internet connection is required for all remote/hybrid positions. </li><li>Must have access to stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth to support video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work-related activities. </li><li>A HIPAA-compliant work environment is required, including a secure workspace free from unauthorized access or interruptions, no use of public Wi-Fi unless connected through a secure company-provided VPN, and compliance with all applicable HIPAA privacy and security regulations. </li></ul>Travel Requirements:<ul><li>5%</li></ul><div></div><div></div></div>
