<p>The purpose of the position is to provide a proficient nursing service within the policies and procedures, governing legislation and good corporate governance in order to ensure satisfaction of customer needs, demands and preferences.</p> <p>CRITICAL OUTPUTS:</p> <p>Function as part of a theatre team under supervision of a Registered Nurse.<br /> Friendly, professional delivery of quality clinical care to promote holistic care of the patient & to ensure the safety of the patient.<br /> Promote and maintain the hygiene of the patient in all aspects.<br /> Prevent cross infection by adhering to infection control policies/procedures.<br /> Maintain the comfort of the patient as well as prevention of complications.<br /> Promote the patient’s welfare by doing the necessary observations.<br /> Document / record all findings correctly in patient’s file.<br /> Maintain patient confidentiality.<br /> Timeous & accurate checking of stock.<br /> Use, maintain & store resources appropriately without wastages and abuse of equipment and consumables.<br /> Demonstrates good judgement, client service & decision-making skills in line with company values.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary.<br /> At least 5 years’ experience within a theatre environment essential.<br /> Able to work flexi-time according to unit requirements.<br /> Knowledge of nursing activities within scope of practice.</p> <p>View and apply for this and other vacancies online via <a href="https://freerecruit.co.za">https://freerecruit.co.za</a><br /> Companies can expire their jobs at any time at their own discretion and without notice.</p>
