<p>An opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Worker – Assistant Driver to ensure that loading and offloading is done. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements<br /> • Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4</p> <p>• Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays</p> <p>• Must have own reliable transport to and from work</p> <p>• Clean criminal record</p> <p>• Medically fit</p> <p>• Proven experience working in warehousing, manufacturing, or transport and logistics environment</p> <p>• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift heavy objects repetitively during working hours</p> <p>• Excellent  <span class="google-anno-t">communication skills</span> and the ability to work as a team</p> <p>• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision</p> <p>• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>• Excellent  <span class="google-anno-t">communication skills</span> and strong work ethics.</p> <p>• Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Supervisor</p> <p> </p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>• Loading and unloading company products</p> <p>• Assisting drivers to find delivery location when needed</p> <p>•  <span class="google-anno-t">Reporting</span> all delivery-related problems to management</p> <p>• Compiling accurate delivery records and  <span class="google-anno-t">reports</span></p> <p>• Obtaining clients’ and customers’ signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.</p> <p>• Cleaning of trucks</p> <p>• Assisting with the unloading of the delivery  <span class="google-anno-t">vhicle</span> at the end of each shift.</p> <p>• General housekeeping tasks</p>
