Key Responsibilities

Assist in drafting legal documents, memoranda, and reports as required.
Organize and maintain legal files and databases with updated research materials.
Support preparation for court hearings, trials, and client meetings by providing relevant case law and legal precedents.
Collaborate effectively with remote legal teams to ensure timely delivery of research and support tasks.
Stay current with legal developments and changes in laws pertinent to the firms focus areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) or a related field; paralegal certification or further legal studies preferred.
Proven experience in legal research, preferably in a law firm or legal department.
Strong understanding of legal terminology, case law, and statutory interpretation.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and writing skills.
Proficient in using online legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or equivalent databases.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote work environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a legal research role or as a legal assistant/paralegal.
Experience working remotely or in virtual teams is an advantage.
Exposure to diverse areas of law such as corporate, criminal, civil, or intellectual property law is a plus.
Working Hours
Full-time position with flexible working hours aligned to company and client needs.
Core availability during regular business hours (9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday) preferred for team meetings and collaboration.
