Program and Events Manager

Scouting Arizona is seeking a dynamic Program & Events Manager to grow community use of our camp properties and expand program opportunities beyond Scouting. This role focuses on sales, client relations, and event management for weddings, reunions, school programs, corporate retreats, and community events.

What You’ll Do:

  • Promote and sell council facilities and programs to non-Scout audiences.
  • Build relationships with schools, corporations, and community groups.
  • Manage contracts, billing, logistics, and client communication.
  • Coordinate staffing and ensure smooth execution of events.
  • Track sales, occupancy, and revenue performance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in hospitality, event sales, or venue management.
  • Strong background in business development and client service.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working evenings/weekends as needed; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary starting at $50,500 plus auto and cell stipends.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement.
