[Remote] HR Generalist, Field

The HR Generalist will support Field HR operations, manage benefit programs, maintain HRIS data integrity, and enhance the employee experience through effective communication and operational excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Administer and continuously enhance all team member benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and leaves of absence – ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company policy.
  • Design and deliver benefit education sessions (open enrollment, new hire orientations) and develop communication materials to ensure employees and Field HR teams fully understand eligibility, coverage, and program changes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to benefit vendors, exercising independent judgment to resolve escalated employee issues, evaluate service performance, and recommend process improvements as needed.
  • Oversee HRIS data integrity, including monitoring and resolving Oracle feed errors (e.g., missing or incorrect employee data such as SSN, DOB, home address, or manager/direct report alignment) and recurring data discrepancies, identifying root causes, and developing long-term corrective strategies in partnership with HRIS and IT.
  • Oversee field job postings and requisitions, including creating, updating, and closing positions as needed to support hiring needs.
  • Advise and oversee recruiting operations, including coordinating field hiring events, managing applicant tracking, background check coordination, I-9 audit reporting, and follow-up to ensure compliance and timely processing.
  • Manage and continuously improve the Field Exempt Orientation experience, overseeing logistics, onboarding communications, and participant engagement, and analyzing feedback to recommend improvements.
  • Manage the HR shared inbox and department communications, ensuring timely responses and consistent messaging to employees and field leadership.
  • Own and maintain the Field HR website and communications, ensuring accurate updates, posting HR processes, and sharing key information and resources with field teams.
  • Monitor and authorize department purchasing and expense submissions as needed, ensuring timely processing and proper documentation.
  • Partner with Field HR Business Partners to design, plan, and communicate HR initiatives and events that strengthen engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the brand in a professional and polished manner, providing service excellence to all customers, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency in HR operations.
  • Frequent use of a computer and HR systems (including Oracle, Microsoft Office products) to maintain employee data and support daily HR operations.
  • Collaboration with Field HR and Recruiting teams to assist with hiring events, orientations, and HR initiatives.
  • Occasional work outside of regular business hours, based on business needs.
  • Travel required: typically once per month to DFW-area locations and once per quarter to Las Vegas locations to support field hiring and onboarding events (domestic only).
  • Frequent physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, and light lifting related to event setup or materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent HR/administrative experience.
  • Have 2–4 years of hands-on HR support experience in areas such as benefits, recruiting, or HR systems.
