About the Role

As a Senior Construction & Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for a wide range of plumbing installations, fault diagnostics, and repairs on both construction sites and existing properties. You will lead maintenance teams, oversee site safety, and deliver top-tier workmanship across a 5 km radius of Laser Park, Randburg.

You will work on industrial water piping, drainage systems, high‑pressure pipework, fire suppression systems, booster pumps, and roof plumbing, making this an excellent role for a plumber with strong technical and supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems on construction sites and existing properties.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, leak detection, and fault diagnostics across commercial and industrial sites.

  • Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices, ensuring high standards of workmanship.

  • Handle broken pipe repairs, booster pump installation, fire suppression plumbing, and high‑pressure pipework.

  • Work on industrial water piping, roof plumbing, and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing schematics.

  • Manage job site safety, ensuring occupational health and safety regulations are followed.

  • Maintain accurate stock levels, tool inventory, and site documentation.

Candidate Requirements

  • Trade-tested plumber with at least 5 years’ experience in construction and maintenance plumbing.

  • Strong background in industrial plumbing and preventive maintenance.

  • Ability to read and implement engineering drawings and site plans.

  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects on time.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Must reside in or near Randburg, Honeydew, Roodepoort, Northcliff, or Laser Park for quick response to job sites.
